For this project, I wanted to step outside my usual comfort zone. I settled on the idea to create a semi-realistic apartment interior with the mindset that it would be used for visualization purposes. This was an excellent way use environmental modeling concepts on an interior.
This was also a good opportunity to explore more aspects of my modeling software. For this project, everything was created entirely within blender. The most challenging part of this project for me was creating some aspects of the furniture. Some of the more detailed objects were a challenge as I wanted the scene to be as detailed as possible.
As for my inspirations, I used and looked at extensive reference photos of modern home and apartment interiors for the overall design. In addition, I also took inspiration from my own house as well as my old college dormitory.
